Head and brain injuries have always been one of my biggest fears. I have a teenage daughter whom I have always had wear a helmet when she rides her bike. When she was about 7-8 most of her friends stopped wearing helmets. I seemed like the meanest father in the world, but when I was a kid I had a friend who died from a small fall from her bike. Head injuries are something that should always be taken seriously.
