Having trouble coping?

If you’ve been on my list for a while, you know I used to have a self improvement course called Whole Life Overhaul. It was a daily course delivered by email. But since email deliverability has gotten very difficult, the program just wouldn’t work anymore. Rebuilding it somehow has been on the back burner. It’s over 1000 pages long!

I was turned on to Mike Kernski last night. As I heard him speak about his life I was thinking, wow, I’ve felt like that myself. I haven’t let you guys in on the many terrible things that have happened in my life. I’ll save that for a novel since no one would believe that one life could have so many terrible things. And here was this guy talking about the depths of despair that I never dared talk about.

It turns out that he has used many of the same coping skills that I did. When you read his free report, you’ll think to yourself, yeah – I’ve heard Carole say that.

Here’s what he says about the report -

Review – Outrageous Mastery

I received an email touting this new self-improvement product. It got my curiosity up – so I went to check it out.

It was a beautiful business model. Perfect. The sales letter was exceptionally written. There were testimonials touting the success of the program. I read on and on, waiting to get to the $197 price tag.

Oh, it’s $147.

But wait! You can get volume one for only $17! And a free month in the ‘Club’. After that, it’s only $37 a month. Groan. But I wanted to know the secret that was promised to be inside that ebook that would change my life.

But wait! You can have all three volumes for $97. No, just give me my download.

The story went on and on about a woman who had a tough life and managed to come out ok. While she tried to hint at some magic going on – you weren’t going to find out what it was unless you bought the other 2 volumes.

Oh brother.

I guess the book was interesting enough if I had been reading recreationally. It certainly didn’t deliver any revelations or magic life changing secrets.

The sales letter is so good, I’m sure she’ll make a ton of sales.

It’s a great lesson in applying the perfect business model if you’re interested in doing something like that. I’m sure she must have paid a copywriter for the sales letter. She had a low priced product upfront that practically anyone would grab. Then the higher priced upgrade. And a monthly income generator. It was the perfect application of Butterfly Marketing in a niche market.

The product itself was mediocre at best.

At least I learned a lot about being a Mormon woman. But I really could have done something more productive with my time today.

Oh well, it was a nice break I guess.
