Something to be said for being crazy
This week, I worked 51.6 hours, even with Labor Day off. Today was my day of rest. So – what did I do?
I started removing wallpaper.
“Carole – are you crazy?”
Now, don’t get me wrong. I did sleep until I was ready to get up. I did lounge around on the beach for a couple of hours. I got the grocery shopping and laundry done. So, I started puttering. I didn’t intend to kill myself finishing the job in one day. I’m not that crazy! I just got it started.
Now most people would plop in front of the TV and not move. But I don’t know one single person who sits in front of the TV eating potato chips who is happy with their life.
I’m rarely bored or lonely. My life is very full. With this job – a little too full. I like to have more balance in my life. My life is seriously out of balance right now, and I don’t like it one little bit – but busy season will pass, and my kitchen will be half done. Writing the new decorating ebook has inspired me to get a few more things done around here. OK, that and a tree landing on my house. Hopefully the new windows will be here soon. Which will present another decorating dilemma. Sigh… one at a time…
And I’m not telling you this to brag. I am far from perfect. There are a bunch of other things I should have done instead of pulling down wallpaper.
I’m telling yout this in the hopes that it will inspire you to get off your duff and do things you like to do. Get out and live life.
Let people look at you and ask -”are you crazy?”
And tell them yes indeed!

American Spirit
Here’s something to ignite your American Spirit -
These boys are giving their lives to protect your rights. Are you doing anything to protect our rights at home?
Our rights are being eroded at a devastating pace.
When a petition comes around on a subject that affects you and yours – do you sign it?
Do you write a letter or make a phone call when it matters?
I get calls to action almost every day – Stop the FDA, stop monstano, remove our food czar, stop the big mergers, and so many others that no one can keep up.
Do you shrug your shoulders and just let our rights evaporate while these boys are out giving their lives?
Let’s bring back our fighting spirit.
If you don’t have an issue to respond to, here’s a few -
Stop the FDA from removing our supplements
Stop AT&T from taking over telecommunications
Stop another FAA shutdown aimed at stopping unions
Bring back the American Spirit! We’ve got to stop taking this stuff laying down!

World Sterilization?
I just started watching a video that is so deeply disturbing that I’m not sure I’ll be able to sleep tonight.
Facing An Unnatural Future; A Genome Apocalypse?

Got any good ideas for fixing the economy?
Our congress is now officially a bunch of buffoons. No surprise here, right?
But no, our congress, the FDA, the UDSA, are more concerned with protecting big industy profits. They are constantly going after supplements and natural foods instead of trying to keep people off the sick rolls. How much money do you think we would save?
Just those 2 moves would put us on the fast track for paying off some of this debt.
Warren Buffet has another idea –
“I could end the deficit in 5 minutes. You just pass a law
that says that anytime there is a deficit of more than 3% of
GDP all sitting members of congress are ineligible for
reelection.” ~ Warren Buffett 7/8/11

Out of Control Government
